Interested in the State budget? The Senate Ways and Means (WAM) and House Finance (FIN) committees have started their budget briefings with the Executive departments. The Hawaii State Legislature has recessed, following two weeks of work on budgetary measures and nominations. They are expected to resume session sometime mid-June and will spend the next few weeks determining what to address.

Things get into full swing next week as the money and subject matter committees hear from the Executive departments about their operations and budget requests.
