The Legislature is posed to reconvene next week. Here’s the session calendar for the last segment of the 2020 Regular Session.
In Recess…
The Hawaii State Legislature has recessed, following two weeks of work on budgetary measures and nominations. They are expected to resume session sometime mid-June and will spend the next few weeks determining what to address.
Session Resumes
The Legislature reconvened today, Monday, May 11th, but is focused exclusively on addressing budgetary items and Governor’s Messages (advise and consent measures being taken up by the Senate). All of the daily floor sessions as well as the hearings will be broadcast and live-streamed, and written testimony is being accepted as noted on the hearing notices.
