House and Senate leadership have announced that they will reconvene the 2020 session on June 22 to take up a limited number of bills, including budget matters and COVID-19-related legislation. They are also expected to consider police reform measures. The session is anticipated to last approximately 3 weeks with July 10th being the target date for adjournment sine die.
The State Capitol will continue to be closed to the general public to conform with state and federal recommendations for physical distancing and avoiding large gatherings. The public will have an opportunity to submit written testimony and to observe some of the proceedings through Livestream television.
