PAR will host a zoom workshop on what to expect from conference on April 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM.

  • Bills must pass out of their final committee in the second chamber by Friday April 4, 2025.
  • Third reading votes in the second chamber will happen the following week.
  • The second crossover deadline (for bills to pass back to their originating chamber) is Thursday April 10, 2025.
  • After that, Conference, a chance to resolve differences between bill drafts!

Bills that pass through all the committees to which they are assigned and pass three floor votes in each chamber that have different drafts in the House and the Senate may go to conference so legislators can work to resolve differences before the end of the 2025 Legislative Session.
