The Legislative Reference Bureau is seeking proposals from interested offerors for a study to examine other states’ approaches to regulating certain aspects of condominium regimes in those states, pursuant to Act 43, Session Laws of Hawaii 2024. An award will result in a contract with the Legislative Reference Bureau to perform these services.

In order to receive consideration from the Legislative Reference Bureau, all requested information identified in the Request for Proposals must be submitted to and received by the Legislative Reference Bureau on or before 12:00 p.m. (HST), April 17, 2025.

This procurement is issued pursuant to Act 43, Session Laws of Hawaii 2024, which requires the Legislative Reference Bureau to study and submit a report on the approaches employed by certain other states regarding certain condominium subjects.  Act 43 also authorizes the Legislative Reference Bureau to procure the services of a contractor to perform this study and exempts this procurement from the Hawaii Public Procurement Code (Chapter 103D, Hawaii Revised Statutes).
